Ferry tickets can be purchased directly at the Sausalito ferry terminal. Of course, you can also ride back, making it a total of 15 miles round trip bike ride!
Starting from our San Francisco bike rental shop on Lombard Street, you will first head north to the Marina Blvd, then head west to the Golden Gate Bridge though the Marina Green and Crissy Field on a flat, paved bike path. Make sure to stop by the Palace of Fine Arts, and take a break at the Warming Hut Cafe near Fort Point before going uphill to the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is less than 2 miles long. Use the East side bike path before 3:30 pm during weekdays, and use the west side bike path after 3:30 pm during weekdays or all day during weekends.
